Why do I want coaching with Alex Jeffreys? Well, I need some good coaching. And all the testimony on the Internet says, basically, “Alex is the best.” And I could certainly use the best.
I’ve been struggling with my network marketing online for months. At 80 years old, I can’t afford the time to just keep struggling without profitable results.
So, Alex, I really need your help.

Thanks for the eBook – some great info.
Over the past few years I, like so many ‘out there’ have spent a small fortune on courses from so many ‘guru’s’. What I’ve come to understand (better late than never) is that the bulk of these experts have never successfully marketed anything online other than ‘how to market online’ courses…nifty, eh?
I am so sceptical out there that I think the only way to succeed is to come up with your own idea/product/way of doing something easier etc, find as much FREE info on how to develop and market it and then take massive action.
However, I’m willing to be a guineapig for you all and to let Alex take me by the hand and show me it can be done – if it works and I do succeed I will be the biggest promoter of his services and I’ll shout it from the rooftops.

the best thing to do is – work out how much money you need and focus on building a business that can reach that status,
you don’t need to become a guru for a better lifestyle, heck i can’t spend all the money i make already,
so know what you want before you go out to make something of yourself.
you’ll learn you can become a success ALOT quicker – as you don’t need to do as much
here to help you on your search for success

Just finished reading your new book, and will definately be going back to it again soon.
Not sure if I qualify to enter the competition as I’ve already been on your coaching. (I really like the sound of the new one though..)
That was a big turning point for me and my 1k list has become 6.3k since I’ve been really pushing ahead this month and have added 1.5k to my list and made $1,400 – I really need this to work for personal reasons. I will have a 10k list by June which is when I plan to go full time on IM, and I can feel things beginning to fall into place – but I think with further coaching I can progress further faster and that’s why I’m entering (if eligible)… coaching/mentoring is on ongoing process that everyone can benefit from whatever stage they are at…

Your eBook was valuable. I made many notes on stickies while reading and then transcribed those notes.
I am an experienced entrepreneur and, if your statistic that 90% of experienced entrepreneurs will succeed in starting new businesses is correct, I expect to succeed in my next project, particularly if I am in association with you. Over a period of ten years I operated five corporations simultaneously headed by one corporation running a weekly newspaper with 125,000 paid subscribers, employed 150 people in the five corporations, and eventually went bankrupt for three million dollars due to some mistakes I made in over-reaching and not knowing (then) how to handle a large cashflow and invest it properly. I have never purchased a coaching course because I have see through the ridiculous claims but have had mentors as a young man and would appreciate a good coach in marketing now.
My web site at http://www.immortality-is-possible.com says much about my background (not all) and explains how I have been researching for thirty years a project for extending one’s healthy life span. I am now proposing to set up a national organization with local chapters holding monthly discussions based on themes developed in a national newsletter that I am presently formulating in a weekly column I have been writing for the last year in a local weekly newspaper. I have already sold nearly 500 copies of an eBook I have written on how to accomplish real longevity and I am ready for real marketing. If Alex would be my mentor, I would also be glad to promote him “from the rooftops.” I want to emphasize that despite all my accomplishments I am looking for a new start. Thanks for the Gurus Nightmare ebook Alex – Just spent the last hour and a half going through it. Your MWA 2.0 Class taught me a lot last year to the point that there is a product in me now which I am putting together and will be based on the results of building a business following 2 different models in parallel with corresponding results.
Before that though I will be publishing a free ebook (which I have almost finished) along those lines particularly focussing on the sales funnel process how I see it with the intention of giving it away just to build my list – so I kind of see that as a sort of pre condition to the real product.
It basically follows 2 different models of list building with OTOs, Integration Marketing, JV List dumping etc done in totally different ways – 1 with daily ad swaps (short shelf live) the other content and marketing focussed with the odd offer/aff sales etc – with corresponding results.
To me a product is there to solve a problem and gives the solution, though as you say the Gurus often dont provide all the pieces to the puzzle.
One area that does interest me is the marketing campaign route that I havent got my head around yet (too busy building and doing tech things LOL). I do watch other good marketers looking for patterns but have yet to work out a process. So your Webinar next week will be very useful to me.

I don’t even know how many thousands of dollars I have spent. I don’t expect to get rich overnight, that was never the kinds of programs I was interested in. I just have never trusted many people online. Most of them are full of it. I have read about you and feel that you would be someone that I could trust. I am not interested in marketing BS products. I want to have products that I can be proud to put my name on. After all, if you lose your good name, that would be hard for me to live with. I think I could trust you to show me the way to finally stop being a consumer and finally reach some level of success. Just got back from Cardiff City where I watched the Bluebirds battle for 20 minutes with a man down against Leicester to cling onto a 2-1 victory and I feel PUMPED… there’s no way I am going to sleep for hours yet!
Great ebook as always – you have it spot on. These times, they are a changing and for the better in my opinion. Most of what is sold online is crap. Idealistic nonsense, padded out with more filler than a teenager’s bra at the prom and maybe one or two reasonable ideas that work in principle but do not have the desired effect. Yet people still lap it up because it’s sold by some “big name” out there…
I haven’t bought an info “product” myself in years, what’s the point? You can get most of the info for free if you can be bothered to look, or you can pay anywhere up to $997 for a dressed up version with a fancy ecover. I took a gamble on yours and Rich Schefren’s coaching almost a year ago to give me the kick up the arse I needed and it appears to be paying off (ta very much) but as far as the next big “system” or fad goes, forget it. Been there. Done that.
You make a great point about people switching from being prospects to becoming marketers. Once you have a few principles in place then it’s so easy. It’s so easy I ignored it for YEARS thinking there must be more to it and I am glad I handed you my money so you could put me straight.
It’s been a long time coming and it’s true about old habits dying hard but I am getting there. I should hit a 10k list by the time I hit 30 in just over a month’s time and I am working on a robust sales funnel. I know I need to become stronger at “marketing” but I’ll keep learning and “swiping” the good stuff from the “gurus”.
They have to be good for something, right?

I have spent the last 8 months in the “cycle” of what I considered to be learning. Ouch! As I moved through the pages all I could say was, OMG he is talking about me! It really wasn’t as much a slap as a look in the mirror. What I saw was a person that had recently made a transition from buying fish to a person that started studying fishing. Still, studying, not fishing. HELP!! I am ready…………. mls

Yes, Alex I want you to be my personal mentor because I’ve spent the last 10 years on the internet doing all the wrong things. I have over 344,000 emails in my google account and almost as many in yahoo. Almost all are trying to sell me a piece of the internet marketing puzzle and information overload is a very real and very frustrating part of my life. My family thinks I’m insane and I’m beginning to believe them, after all, doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results is a form of insanity. I have no more money to spend and I’m almost at the point of completely giving up and throwing away my computer.
I know it’s possible to make money on line because I’ve made so many people money by buying their useless products.I’m so tired of being lied to and misled by people who really don’t give a crap about me that even now my eyes are flooding with tears. I don’t mean to sound like a wimp but it’s just so frustrating to have someone pretend to care about you till you spend your hard earned money, and then find out they don’t really care but just want to sell you another product. I truly hope that you are different but even if you are I truly don’t have the money to buy your course. I’m currently on unemployment and am over drawn on my bank account $800.00 and my paypal account is overdrawn $62.00. I really enjoyed reading your email because it seemed like you were writing about me and my negative experiences on the net trying to create some kind of an income. I’m I’m 57 years old and trying to find a new job in this market is very difficult. I’m sorry if it seems like I’m just feeling sorry for myself but I just don’t have the words to tell you how hopeless I feel. thanks for listening.

Why do I want coaching by Alex? I’m on the list of a lot of people you’ve coached and I like their style, and I want to learn from their source of coolness. I’ve read your free reports and would like more, and know that you have a lot to teach me.
I’m a quick study and manage to learn from people who don’t even plan to mentor me, and so I imagine just how much I can learn from someone who does.

I joined your coaching Students in Dec 2009,from a standing start.No experience!
I can now build sites(first built in 2 weeks)promote products with confidence and know that there is support with the other Students.
So really what I am saying is its not just the coaching its the whole set up.

Sir: I don’t have a website yet. After reading your ebook I know you are a good man and honest about helping others. “Yes, Alex I want you to be my personal mentor because …” I have the burning desire to be a successful online marketer and have dedicated many hours to the learning of the trade. You may know that I was a student in your MWA 2.0 course and that course gave me the impetus to get stuck into internet marketing in a new way.
From you I learnt how to plan, I got my blog up and running, I started to “market” myself and I even earned some dough! The best thing to come out of the coaching, however, was the great contacts that I made with other students who have helped me in many ways to push my business forward.
And with this new business and confidence in what I was doing I decided to take the plunge and quit my job. This is before I was making anything near what I need on a monthly basis. The coaching allowed me to see how things “could” be and I have decided to no longer settle for what I have but to push on and achieve more.
BUT without your help this process may take me many, many months while I fight with all the doubts and issues that come from such a decision. I have no option other than to make it so no matter what I will get to where I want to be but if you were prepared to consider me for the personal mentoring then I would be extremely grateful.
And on a lighter note, I thoroughly enjoyed your guru’s nightmare report, all 95 pages of it. phew. Talk about telling it how it is!!

Running is what I want to be doing but running with you would bring the end to the misery and frustration with the lack of guidence with what I am trying to do solo. I have been trying to do this for so long that my familiy are tired of it. I am fed up of being a prospect and I am now ready to take the gauntlet. I am ready to focus on your program and give it 200%. Up until this point in my life I have been a builder, creater and designer. By that I mean you could hand me your business, but what good would it be if I didn’t build it and thus know how to run it? I want you to be my personal mentor because I’ve found myself through trial and tribulation (and significant dinero) that, hands down, marketing is the answer. I’ve had some small successes which is great for the moral, but I need to take this to the next level. I firmly believe you’re capable of making this happen, who knows… Once you unleash a marketing beast, it may be to arm it with your product.

we’ll i actually finished it on day 56
i picked up my mates jack and coke and took a sip thinking it was my coke.
i was GUTTED – but my pledge was not to drink a drop for 90 days while i launch
my new company,
but still i was proud that i did 56 days.

I’ve heard it said that a wise man doesn’t need advice, and a fool won’t take it. But I’m neither wise enough nor foolish enough not to listen. I’m not sure what that makes me? Maybe a guru’s nightmare? I have a business plan that I’m working on (such as it is), but it’s slow going. I’ve been at this for about 8 months, and have made some small change, but I can see that I’ve got a long way to go to be as good at this as I’d like to be. I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to learn from you Alex. I have come to appreciate that having a mentor, or someone to call on when I have a problem could be a huge benefit. This new report really rocks! The reason I want you to coach me and be my mentor now is because you are the only one who has repeatedly given me real information. I wish I knew just how valuable it was when I was in your coaching class! I was a complete newbie when I started your course and didn’t realize how spot on the info was at the time. Ever since, I’ve been grabbing for the shiny crap that hits my email daily trying to get going the easy way. If I’d spent the time learning marketing instead, I’d be way ahead by now!
In this report you’ve told me what I should have known all along. I’m spending the rest of the week going back over the modules in Alex 2.0 with a new point of view and get my business going and quit bitching about the bad economy and how it used to be in the good old days when all I had to do was create a great illustration or photo and make tons of cash from my clients. I forgot what it took to get those clients to be repeat customers. I always delivered more than they expected! However, I never had to do marketing since I had reps selling for me full time. Now it’s time for me to market instead of just creating great content. Also, I will not be a prospect anymore! You are right… Marketing is what I need to know. I would been keen as mustard to have you as a my Coach for a number of reasons…
#1 – I have been stumbling around on the IM track for sometime now and I really just need someone to show me some light… I have found it very difficult to find a mentor… an actual mentor who is just not trying to hock me another product and run.
#2 – I really want to ramp things up. I am in my early thirties and hungry to learn. I have put in place some strategies but have yet to see any concrete results… I have a great understanding of technology with a degree in Information Technology and my full time job being that of a software developer…. I want to break out of it and go big in IM and need a mentor to help me find my way!

Here’s a good suggestion from a high school English teacher: have an editor go over your copy before posting it. Thousands of mistakes in that report — and “I” is ALWAYS capitalized. It is a shame that poor English usage is becoming acceptable.

… my motivation is different. Like everyone else here I have been through the wringer of falseness in this business, but I continue to perservere because I don’t want one orphan left unfed. (Check the link if you wish to know more.) Did you know that for $50,000 you can build a medical clinic in Myanmar(Burma) from the ground up? I didn’t… but when I found out that it could be done, I started trying to raise enough to build a second one.
Since then, it hasn’t worked out as I had expected. I will work harder than other people because I believe lives depend on a positive outcome.
When all is said and done, would you rather have given someone the ability to own a fancy car, or build a medical center for some of the poorest children on Earth?

Yes, Alex I want you to be my personal mentor because I’m a clean slate. I do not have any failures or bad habits to untrain.
I would imagine that a Mentor would get great pleasure from un-training and re-training a student to success, but I also imagine the pure fun a Mentor would have in training me, who has a clean slate, from start to finish.
I wouldn’t have a heart felt story of rags to riches with your Mentoring so I probably wouldn’t be a flagship testimonial for you, but I would be a great 2nd place example of the results your Mentoring produces on someone who is basically brand new (I know the technical side of creating a website).
I have a strong work ethic, I’m a quick study and I have all the necessary time available to me in order to start whenever you’re ready. Let’s do it!

Thank you for the Gurus Nightmare e-book. It’s took me almost a day to read all your stuffs and i have discovered a lots of things that am really don’t know. Just briefly about myself before am going to further anymore saying. I am , a 61 years old, English as my 2nd language, am here in Australia for 32 years now, i used to work in the Mail Centre for nearly 19 years, took redundancy in 2000, started a Tobacconist shop for about 10 years ,made no $ at all rather than huge lost, by 4/09 i quit it, and try to start up something else. Again, i wasn’t succeed in another Car styling business, i was in this business with my partner, in 4 months i did not make any $ at all rather than every day 9-5 come to work and try to keep the business survive. Fed up with that, in10/09 i quit again and stay home , try to work out what field that i might get in to earn just enough $ money to survive. I realize that i still have a big mortgage, am too old to go and get a job with someone,and after 10 years working for myself i’ve just cannot afford to work under other people control anyway; i don’t have much $ money left to start another small business i.g convenience store, corner shop, or service stationshop…and in fact the last 11 months while i am not working at all, i don’t get on the dole but survive myself by the help of my daughter and also use my credit card for personal spending with the hope that i will soon find something to do and repay what i owed. It’s real risky business but i have no choice !! So am thinking of the IM which maybe cost less to enter . In 10/09 i started to opt in a few email lists, and i did go from one to another e-book,programs ..that i bought online,so far none of them work! i maybe not smart enough, or be scammed. Most of these programs , not as said in the sale letter and once i bought it, get stuck , cannot get help enough, or even nothing help at all after i paid the $. So far in 6 months since i try IM, i have lost thousand of dollars and am just about to give up completely after really hard thinking during the last couple days. I realize that in order to be succeed on IM i need a mentor ,a coaching, but that seem out of my hand or affordable when i had a chance to discuss this with some of the Gurus, it costs ten of thousand $ for 6 months training, with the result i don’t know if it work!! Today, i got up early as usual, my 1st thing is get on my computer to real all the emails marketing, it’s getting very big now, and i just cannot finish reading them all in a day, so i thought i’d better just delete a lot and start unsuscribe all of them and Quit altogether, i will try to go to work for someone else, i have no choice now, though i still love so much about the working at home life and the IM.It’s my passionate!! Anyway, your email was the 1st one that hit my eyes coz of the subject that have attracted me, you know what i mean when you keep failure from one to another program, so you just want to see what the hell is the Gurus nightmares, i asked myself why not what the Newbies nightmares ? so let read it to see what they talk about? Really it attract my curious, also you have reveal lots of thing that i don’t know …so i left all other work aside all day just to finish your e-book, and finally, i made it by 6pm. Well , it’s good reading, and learning, actually i did learn quite a lot from this e-book and i mean to review it asap. I may give it a try again for the last time , if it doesn’t work then i will quit later, i can only hope, and if i don’t try i will never know ! I don’t expect that i will make a fortune on IM, what i hope for is making few Ks a month just enough to make me survive, and the very 1st thing is to make my 1st sale on IM. So am writing this email to you as my last hope, not because i want you to give me a your business,coz am winning the competition, it’s so hard and it’s not in my mind. The only thing i hope is as i read through your e-book, i ‘ve just need a mentor and a coaching to guide me till i can do it myself.
