As I type this message Im sat in an internet cafe on vacation in Phuket Thailand.

(many people talking in many different launages)
Plus each time I look outside the internet cafe door
I see something that just amazes me,
Thailand Rocks :)
Anyway,
I really do have something very special I want to share with you,
that could change your life for ever,

I’ve been told by many online marketers that January is the best time
to make money from your mailing list online.
And Im sure if you’re on other marketers mailing lists, you will see them
hammer there lists with promotions selling selling selling ,
So here’s my plan …

I’ve spent the past two weeks relaxing on vacation
in the wonderful resort of Phuket Thailand.
Which has given me plenty of time to reflect on my life
and what I want to accheve this year and beyond.
Before I came on this vacation my goal for 2008
was to make $250,000 this year online.
its not a bad goal huh, and its double what I made in 2007.
BUT !!! <<< and a BIG but,

My goal for 2008 is to make $200,000 in net profits through affiliate marketing, personal sales and adsense and/or similar revenues. I have spent the last 6 months learning the basics to be able to make this thing fly. So 2008 is

I’ve decided that this will be my year to count my blessings, live life fully, declare & strive for what I want. One of my main goals is financial abundance & I know the internet is an excellent source of financial abundance.
I plan on starting an internet based travel business & would love to have some techniques that actually work for marketing. I’m hoping that you have some gems to offer.

Glad to hear your having a great time! I would love to see Thailand and be writing to you from an Internet cafe. One day I’ll do just that!
But, until then I have a lot of work to do. I became disabled a couple years ago and after my self pity time and my pissed of at the world time and my not giving a damn about anything time, I decided, with the help of my family that never gave up on me, that I did give a damn and wanted to start getting some sort of a life back.
I just put this site up and don’t have anything uploaded yet. Frankly, I’m having trouble getting my plr products uploaded. I can’t seam to figure out how to do it! I have got this far by trial and error, mostly error and wasted money.
I am on disability and a very limited income so wasted money means food off my families table!
I could use any help you would be willing to offer.

This year I am moving out of my comfort zone and stepping up and moving up to create change in my life.
I have lived in a limiting belief system for the past 10 years. In the process I have learned that it only takes actions for change to take place.
My resolution this year is to act.

I believe 2008 to be the year for me to finally break into internet marketing. I’m in the process of developing my first product, in the digital photography niche.
One of my short term goals is to make enough money that I can take my wife anywhere she wants to go for our 10 year anniversary, which is May. So I have some work to do!

I have had endless self help e-books thrown at me and I do not want to miss out on an oppurtunity to get aboard the money express.

Got an email from Liz Tomey talking about you. Liz has always given great info so I thought I’d check you out. I did a quick scan through your free ebook and was really impressed with the contents. We used to hate marketing but tried it last year anyway and did quite well though we did it part time, slacked in some months and had a few stumbles along the way. I’m certain 2008 will be a big year for us if we stay focused. Every day whilst sitting at the beach, i was thinking about 2008, that it will be a great year and i’ll be making passive online income to take vacations in Thailand (and all over the world) knowing my internet business is funding the trip.

I learned a long time ago I don’t really do well with New Years Resolutions. The only resolutions I have ever followed through with, I actially didn’t start until later in January and February. I still set a date, just not January 1.
I have plans to start a blog on a health experiment I am doing. About 2 months ago, I quit using all of my supplements and started eating a ton of junk food. Instead of ordering a salad for lunch I have been eating a double cheeseburger and fries. One thing I have noticed since I started eating junk food again is that I have started craving the junk food.
Anyway, I have been keeping track of several different things. My weight, body fat, blood pressure, etc. I needed to get some base numbers to compare to when I start the experiment. I will begin with changing some of my eating habits. Then I will start adding my supplements one at a time so as to see how each one is really working.
The toughest part is since starting this experiment I have lost a ton of energy and it seems have got some of my procrastination symptoms back.
Here’s to 2008 and to all the great changes it will bring to our lives!

Good post Alex. The whole point for me (and most of us struggling marketers) is to able to make a passive, hands free income using the leverage possible with the internet. A four hour work week sounds good to me! My goal is to able to FOCUS on actionable steps that will take me to that point-or at least point me in the right direction so I can see that it is possible. I have a lot of good ideas and information but only effectively ACTING on that information will bring me the prize.
