Hi Alex. Just like “Valentin” above – I have only just discovered Newbies Nightmare (and, indeed, you!) and have missed the lottery!!
It’s a shame because I am in the exact position that your mentoring would help but I am currently VERY short on funds!
I know everything there is to know about the tech side of things. I know nothing about marketing!! (as is the case with most of us techies, I suspect).
I run an online store with 1000′s of newsletter subscribers selling real life (not virtual) products – unfortunately, the recession has hit hard and orders have gone from 50 a day to 1-2 a day!! I really really need out!!!
Anyway Alex, your videos and presentation style are infectious and fun – and you obviously REALLY know your stuff! I really hope that everything goes GREAT with this programme and, hopefully, you can count me in for the next one!

Just wanted to say ‘Thanks’, just finished reading Newbies Nightmare, it made a refreshing change to come across someone who ‘hit the nail on the head’ when it comes to Newbies failing or in my case too scared to move forward. Have spent too long looking at things the wrong way round, isn’t there some kind of biblical saying – give and you shall recieve? First I wanted to introduce myself. I am Gary D Lyman Jr. and I am 34 and from and in upstate New York. Secondly, I just wanted to say thank you. “Newbie Nightmare” was an excellent read. I would like you Mr. Jeffereys to take me by the hand as my personal coach and help me build my online business and help me become your next number one student. I have decided I want to follow your proven system.
Where should I begin? Well I got laid off from my employer on May 18th, 2009 due to the fact of cut backs and down sizing. I am completely a broke bloke as well!! I am getting married to Kristin the most wonderful girl in the whole wide world on August 1st, 2009 and she means the world to me. She works a full time job and I collect unemployment and we are barley getting by. We also have plans to move in about a month. I so much have the desire to want to succeed in life to provide for myself and my soon to be wife. I have worked dead end jobs and now I want to be number one in life. I so much want to learn and get to know you and the people you know to become a successful person in life. I once read and learned somewhere that in order to be successful you have to be around successful people.
I know you have set the deadline for getting this comment in by June 24th, 2009 but I just came across the “Newbie Nightmare” today on June 26th, 2009. I read and tried to take in every word you wrote. I was reading something interesting today and I came across Dave Guindon on twitter. Btw, today is the first day I signed up for twitter. I think twitter is amazing and an excellent way to network. I can’t remember how I found Dave, but I seen one of his postings that mentioned you and I ended up finding my way to your great piece of work “Newbie Nightmare”.

I gets worse. I guru hop. I subscribe to all the top ones and my inbos is insane. I buy too much and never really get on top of it. The learning curve is enjoyable, but takes away the focus. No wonder your students are succesful.
It IS about Focus. And it is about marketing. And Twitter is a great tool.

I have thought about establishing an on-line business, but could not find a product or service I was comfortable with. I do not have a website. I didn’t get your offer in my email until Sat, Jun 27, 2009 04:29 PM. It was from an ad from Mark Hendricks . I have gotten mail from him for some time. So I guess I won’t qualify for your offer.
I would get your program in a heartbeat, but I haven’t any money. I’ve been out of work for over a year.
I know you are right about “info overload”. It really is hard to learn how to create a business. I’ve tried, but I have yet to make a blog or a website. I know that after I get that done, I have to market them.
I am always trying to help people do things that I know, or make sense to me, but who will listen when I can’t get my own enterprises off the ground?
Reading between the lines, if I had a business to run, I believe I’d quickly learn how to build one and I should so I’d have more than one source of income. I’m sure that is what you are teaching, even though you didn’t actually say it that way.
I wish I could make a deal with you to pay later for what you are offering because I literally have NO money. I’m going to make this venture work some how any way.

The scenarios and “person” (meaning the person that has bought countless products, and have taken bits and pieces, and partially used them, to no avail, for somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 years online)
that you outline fit me to a “T”!
I am not even close to knowing everything, (I’d say I am still a complete novice) but I am one of those people that is getting “beat out” because I have too much knowledge, scattered all over the net, and my brain, and fail to implement an efficient system.
I know that the contest is over, which sucks, but I just found this report. However, I still wanted to leave a comment because I wanted to make sure that you knew that your over-simplified little ebook is probably one of the best resources that I have come across in my whole illustrious

I have just received an email from Reed Floren and having just watched your video I would love to take you up on your mentor course but I am just short of $997 as I have just had my business go into liquidation and am considering going bankrupt – meeting with the CAB tomorrow.
I have been trying to make it online and recently set up a web site selling home study course for the road haulage operator licence

Once again, another great free report.
The analagies in it are so true, especially regarding information overload. I think this is possibly the number one reason why people fail. Should they write their own product coz so and so say so, should he do article marketing because such and such says so etc etc. The list is endless and continually growing.
People do need to forget everything they have ever read and truly start from scratch. As you say, forward to basics.
Cannot make your coaching this time round due to things beyond my control (excuses I know, but genuine ones this time).
Next time (hopefully there will be a next time) I will be first one down. Though hopefully by then I will be joining you at the seminars anyway.

I receieved your e-mail today and read it over which brought me to this point. I see I am late for the free coaching. I am one of those people like you that have spent thousands of dollars on home based busineses that have come up short. Most recenetly I maxed out my credit card to try a home based business. And this just became another debt instead of a sucess story. I have been laid off from my job and am finding it very hard to find a regular job. I am really considering taking a gamble and using what money I can come up with to invest in this program. It would be great if I could get some kind of one on one with you though.

Alex, I just opened an email from Justin Brooks, and downloaded the free report’ marketingwithalex’ and was blown away with the common sense approach to information overload. THANK YOU ! You are correct in that one needs to be totally focused, and not get sidetracked by all the unnecessary emails we open every day. I am getting a new email address as soon as i hit the ‘send’ key.
