You had me at Robert Kiyosaki!!! Talk about name dropping. I’m reading his latest book now. Its a good thing you kept my attention that long since he’s at the very end.

Persuading versus selling is huge for me also. Ive been a little bit held back in one of my ventures because I hate to be sold to and don’t want to sell to others, but have lacked a technique to inform instead. Maybe I’m on my way now.

Only just found this! Went through it last night and now going through the Guru’s nightmare. Great content for anyone wanting to make money online by Internet Marketing. I also check out Dean Holland’s site to see how he’s progressed and it gives me inspiration!

Hi Alex,

I know the contest is finished, but after reading the Newbies Nightmare I had to share my thoughts. I’ve always been a keener since I can remember, wanting the best. The only problem being I wasn’t a genius at school with always low to average marks. Regardless, in high school I pushed myself to be an intern at a famous architectural firm (I’m not bragging) and after several calls and an entertaining interview I got the job. The last day working there, the head architect (who’s become a human treasure) and owner of the firm gave me a personal message. “Strive for Excellence.” Several years later I went back to read about the owner. His life was all about that quote. He gave to me what you’re giving to your students. And for that you have my utmost respect. Subsequently, my little brother is finishing reading Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad, really coincidental. What ever I do to run my own successful system, I hope to share with him. Also, coincidentally, I’m on a mentoring program with Dean Holland. Small World.

Thanks for providing your inspirational and invaluable ebooks open to the public. Truly appreciate it.

thanks alexs great stuff i hear about you all over the marketing world i know all the reasons i would love to have this and what a great oppertunity it would but my reasons a most litley the same as everyone else trying for this. it all come done to weather you give me the chance to change my life so i no loner need to think about the reasons why i need this chance. if not i will stick with it till i can pay you to help me

Excellent read. Connected on everything you had to say especially the information overload. Your right in your assesment. Giving is the way to receive. I would like to be a part of your mentoring for that very reason. To learn that lesson would not only be good for internet marketing but for everyday life. It definitely would make me a better person. You have a very good attitude towards life that you use in your business. It comes through very clearly in your article Newbie Nightmare. It would be very rewarding to be a part of your group and to learn from a person who has such a great attitude towards people and life would be a great privilege.
